Brief Introduction

The calcareous and argillaceous materials are the main raw materials of silicate cement. According to the fuel type and the type of cement, the industrial residue also will be used as a kind of supplementary material.

Calcareous Materials 

The calcareous materials are mainly for calcium carbonate component, such as Limeston, Cretaceous, Maristone, etc. 

Argillaceous Materials

The argillaceous materials are mainly for the materials which will provide the SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3, such as Loess, Clay, Sandstone, Coal Ash, etc.

Supplementary Materials

When the chemical components in calcareous and argillaceous materials can not meet the requirement of the formula, the supplementary materials shall be adopted, such as:

• Silicaeous materials: SiO2 > 80%
• Aluminous materials: Al2O3 > 30%
• Ferruginous materials: Fe2O3 > 50%
